BISMUN Association (Bucharest International Student Model United Nations) is an NGO established in order to promote and encourage the UN values, as they arise from the UN Charter, among Romanian youth and among the Romanian society. The association realizes its scope by:

• Organizing conference level academic simulations of UN organs and agencies, also simulations of other international or regional multilateral forums of negotiation for university students or equivalent;
• Organizing an annual simulation conference of the UN, called the Bucharest International Student Model United Nations, its organizing structure being decided by the Board of Directors of the association;
• Organizing conferences, workshops, trainings and debating sessions, public or private, of principal social, economic, legal, human rights, humanitarian, development and international security problems, according to its statutory scope;

Therefore, this seminar aims to become a tradition not only for the association itself, but for whole Romania, because it raises the awareness of the youth on global issues, in a context of international relations and, especially, of international law.

For the organization of this seminar the Board of Directors of BISMUN Association has decided to assign as the Executive Organizing Committee of the 1st Bucharest Late Summer Seminar on International Relations and International Law, abbreviated LSS-CC (Late Summer Seminar on Climate Change), most of the members of the BoD, which have a vast experience in organizing such projects with success. The academic coordinators of LSS-CC are members of the Scientific Council of BISMUN Association.

The Academic Coordinators are the following:

• Lector dr. Bogdan Aurescu, secretary of state at Romanian MFA; lector at Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest;
• Mr. Felix Zaharia, deputy director at Romanian MFA; associated lector at the Faculty of Law, University of Bucharest;
• Mr. Cosmin Boiangiu, director at Romanian MFA;
