Who can participate ?

Moot Courts 2011 is for European students who have completed at least two years of law courses. However, in the case of the European Court of Justice, considering the philosophical approach of the human rights, we accept applications from students who have studied political sciences or philosophy (but only for the lawyer position).

What are the rules of the procedure?

The rules of the procedure are a set of rules that regulate the judging session. These norms, which are mandatory for all the parties involved in the process, will guide the entire activity of lawyers and judges.

How do I register ?

What should be my dress code ?

During the judging sessions and deliberations, a formal dress code is mandatory. Therefore, jeans and sneakers are strictly forbidden.

What is a memorandum ?

The memorandum appears in two phases of the project. In the first one, it appears in the application and it is the document by which the applicant solves the judicial case. In the second phase, the memorandum is the document by which: 1. the lawyers judicially argument their requirements and ideas regarding the case that requires solution; 2. the judges express their opinion regarding the solution of the case.

What is the participation fee ?

The participation fee depends on the category of applicants you are part of:

Without accommodation : 65 LEI

With accommodation at a student hostel: 110 LEI
