REGISTRATION

Registration criteria:

In order to register as a judge, you must be a 3rd or 4th year law student. Lawyer positions are open to anyone who is 2nd year or higher and is also a law student. All participants registered to ICJ must understand and be able to speak and write in English. ECHR and CJEU simulations will be held in Romanian.

Registration procedure:

In order to register, send us your CV (at mootcourts2011@bismun.org) and after that you will receive a case. Following the receipt of your answers to the tasks in the case provided, you will receive the answer to your application. You can either register to ICJ, ECHR or CJEU. All applications are individual. However, lawyers will be paired into teams of 2. If there is someone specific you wish to work with, mention him/her in your application.

Number of participants:

For ICJ are available 28 positions, as follows: 22 lawyers and 6 judges.

For ECHR are available 21 positions, 12 lawyers and 9 judges.

For CJEU are available 21 positions, 12 lawyers and 9 judges.

Participation fee:

The participation fee depends on the category of applicants you are part of:

Without accommodation : 65 LEI

With accommodation at a student hostel: 110 LEI
